The first International Workshop on Worst-case Traversal Time (WCTT) is a one-day event held in conjunction with the 32nd IEEE Real-time Systems Symposium (RTSS) , which will be held in Vienna, Austria, on November 29, 2011.
The WCTT workshop will gather together scientists and practitioners from both academia and industry to discuss methods for analysis of bounds on the traversal time in networked systems. The topics addressed by the workshop will be Network Calculus (both deterministic and stochastic), Real-time Calculus, trajectory approach, event-based methods, formal methods, and similar. Multi-hop, network-like traversal will be a mandatory requirement. Contributions that describe software tools for computing worst-case bounds and/or assess the scalability and accuracy of the performance methods will be given particular attention. Experiences with real-life case studies (e.g., industrial networks of practical relevance, fieldbuses, embedded networks and network on chip) will also be appreciated, as well as those on the integration of applicative scheduling and network.
